  • Provided curriculum guidance for the Missouri Infusion of Network Technology into Schools (MINTS), a Southwestern Bell funded project bringing high-end, broad-spectrum Internet and instruction technology into the classrooms of high-need school districts and classrooms.
  • Conducted workshops and presentations for many Missouri school districts and professional educator organizations on the implementation of the Show Me Standards, with an emphasis on teaching toward and assessing for application, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and inquiry skills.
  • Conducted workshops for high schools in subject-specific, project- and problems- based instructional and assessment strategies (English/language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science).
  • Served on instructional teams providing instruction to the first two cohorts of candidates in the University of Missouri-Columbia competency-based teacher education program; responsible for instruction in understanding and meeting students' physical, social-emotional, and cognitive needs; instructional strategies (from direct to problems-based); comprehensive classroom management (proactive and reactive strategies); traditional and performance-based assessment; and school climate.
  • Team-taught graduate courses in curriculum design and performance-based assessment
